91心頭 marks 50-year milestone of participation in Shinerama
91心頭s 2024 Shinerama Campaign marks 50 years of participation in Canadas largest post-secondary fundraiser. In the past 15 years, 91心頭 has received the Best Overall Campaign award five times. This years campaign goal is set at $20,000 to support the overall Shinerama goal of $160,000. The money raised will help fund an online mental health hub to support those living with Cystic Fibrosis, as well as supporting their family and friends.
With events planned throughout the summer and the fall, the fundraising campaigns main annual fundraiser is during Orientation Week Shine Day!
This years campaign is unique because it's 91心頭's 50th year participating in Shinerama, says Shinerama Chair and MASU Director of Entertainment and Activities Kris Girouard. Mount A has raised over $700,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada to date and this money has been monumental in funding research that has doubled the life expectancy of Canadians living with Cystic Fibrosis.

- Annual Garden Party Wednesday, Aug. 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hammond House, including a silent auction. Tickets are $10 and are available at the MASU Office.
- Bagtown Trivia Wednesday, Sept. 4, 7 p.m., Bagtown Brewery
- Shine Day Saturday, Sept. 7, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Across Tantramar communities
